1) Pantai Batu Hampar        Map

Near to Sheraton Langkawi Beach Resort and it offers calm waters. Curtain parts of the beach offer shelter amongst numerous rocks along the shore.

2) Pantai Kok        Map

This is a clean beach that was form by beautifully sandy white. Here, there is a restaurant and Thai cultural dances are performed daily at the Summer Palace.

3) Pantai Teluk Burau        Map

Situated at the foothills of Mount Matcincang and it is very beautiful. The virgin forests that fringe the shore are one of the oldest in the world. Here you will also get to see hornbills.

4) Pantai Teluk Datai        Map

Here you can see a fascinating view which the water can also be crystal clear. The waters come from the Andaman Sea. It is quite a popular beach.

5) Pantai Pasir Tengkorak        Map

The waters here can be crystal clear but it depends on the calmness of the sea. Near to this beach, there is a waterfall that called the Temurun Waterfalls. The waters here fall from a height of about 50 meters high.

6) Pantai Pasir Hitam        Map

This is the most unique beach if compared with other beaches because the sand here is black and not in white normally. The waters here are not conducive for swimming.

7) Pantai Tanjung Rhu        Map

Here, dolphins are occasionally sighted. There are also sea cucumbers to be found along the beach. The sea cucumbers usually were used in the making of traditional herbal oils. There is also a small island nearby. The underwater current can be very strong and treacherous, so you should be careful if you are going for swimming.

8) Pantai Beringin        Map

This beach is close to the town of Kuah. There is a resort and also good restaurants. Nearby this beach, there is a cave that is called the Porcupine Cave "Gua Landak".

9) Pantai Tengah        Map

This beach is one of the busiest beaches on the island. Here you can found restaurants that offer you the whole range of local Malaysian cuisine drawn from Indian, Chinese and Malay culinary culture. There are also cuisines from other parts of the world such as Korean, Japanese, German, English, Irish and Italian.

10) Pantai Cenang        Map

It is located along the same stretch of the coast with Pantai Tengah and it is also one of the busiest beaches in the Langkawi.
