The mystical island of Langkawi is home to The Andaman at Datai Bay. Situated between the majestic Mat Cincang Range and the deep blue Andaman Sea, the RESORT has been built in the middle of a virgin tropical rainforest. Centuries old trees, many with huge buttress roots and jungle creepers envelope the resort creating a haven far from the bustle of city life.
The Andaman has 188 deluxe rooms and suites. Each is furnished with king or twin beds, minibar, coffee and tea making facilities, writing desk and chair, individually controlled air-conditioning, hairdryer, ceiling fan, in-room safety box and IDD telephone lines. Lanai rooms feature sunning decks with umbrella and are on the first floor.

| How To Get To The Andaman Langkawi | |||||
You can either go to the Datai by driving or get a taxi. If you're coming from the Kuah Jetty the taxi fee will be around RM 40 and the distance is about 45 minutes driving. From the airport it is about 30 minutes driving and taxi cost also RM 40. If you're form Datai going back to the Airport or Jetty, it will cost you RM 50. |

The Fitness Centre is located on the 2nd Floor towards the south wing and is open from 06h00 until 23h00 daily.
Jogging trails are described on the trail map contained in your room compendium. The trails range from an easy 1.5 km jog along the low water line of Datai Bay beach to a bracing 12 km run along the coast to Temurun Waterfalls and back.
The Andaman’s exquisite landscaped swimming pool is located at the Poolside Terrace, overlooking the beachfront.
Other recreational activities are;
Mountain Biking, Tennis, Volleyball and Water Sports, Billards & Games Room.
Also available is a Business Centre which is located at the Main Lobby near the Gift Shop and is open from 09h00 until 22h00 daily. Internet and reading materials are available.
THE JAMU NATURE SPA has three villas; two duplex-style Rainforest Villa overlook the Andaman Sea and includes: two massage beds on each level, large bathtub, garden shower and relaxation terrace. The very private Sari Villa offers more lavish facilities, including a large jacuzzi, garden-shower and relaxation terrace.
